Apple has just launched the latest iPad. Well it looks familiar, because it seems as if Apple took the iPod Touch and makes a bigger version. The iPad contains: Music, Video, email and other common iPod or iPhone applications and seems to have been produced to rival the Amazon successful Kindle device. Both devices have e-book abilities, despite the fact that the iPad makes it easier to turn the effective page of the book because of its multi-touch ability. The Ipad 32gb was first launched in January and has received both positive and negative responses from the crowds. If you are debating on either the iPad is the correct choice for you, I can only say that I just love my 2 days old Ipad 32gb device.
I’ll try to describe here some of the positve & negative that I seen regarding the Ipad:
Pros
1. Price – begins at $499 for the 16 GB (and of course there are the 32GB and 64GB) this device is more reasonable than many other netbooks.
2. Size does matter – 9.7″ screen makes viewing photos and videos an enjoyment and it weighs less than two pounds (and is ½ inch thick).
3. The Apps – One of most attractive one is the iBooks Ereader app. A lot of developers will soon turn out to be part of the iPad rush and make new apps for entertainment, e-learning or personal use.
4. Built in GPS
5. The great safari browser incorporated – which makes surfing so much fun.
Negative
1. My latest iPad 32gb did not come prepared for 3G coverage, however rumors has it that a new upgraded device with these capacities will be sold by the end of the month for $629.
2. Built in battery however this time it lasts longer.
3. No USB port (once again we are required to use Apple’s Itune)
4. No multi-tasking - you cannot run multiple applications at the same time.
5. Still no flash in this latest Apple device.
6. No camera so you can’t use this gadget to take pictures.
